We booked Impresio Studio for our baby shower in DLF Phase 5, and initially we were mainly looking for candid photography because we did not want the function to feel like a proper photoshoot. We had our parents, grandparents and quite a few relatives coming, so there was already a lot happening at home. The photographer understood this very well. He did not keep stopping everyone for photographs, but whenever there was an important family combination, he would quietly organise us and take the picture properly.


What we really liked was the attention given to my mother to be portraits. I had planned a particular saree and jewellery for the ceremony and wanted some nice photographs where I was not surrounded by twenty people. They suggested doing those portraits before the guests became too busy, and that turned out to be a very good decision. We also got proper photographs with both sets of parents, grandparents and the complete family, along with many candid pictures from the Godh Bharai ceremony. The photographs felt natural but still professionally composed. It was a very comfortable experience, and we did not have to worry about managing the photographer during our own function.

Our baby shower was organised in our society clubhouse near Golf Course Extension Road, and we had around 60 guests. We wanted both photography and video because many of our relatives were travelling from different cities and we wanted the ceremony properly documented.
